After graduating with her Master’s Degree in 2015, she began working in family practice as a primary care provider, as well as in college health, until opening Mission Health & Wellness, LLC.
In addition to her FNP, she has received continuing education in root cause-resolution healthcare including skin issues, gastrointestinal and autoimmune disorders, anxiety, depression, weight concerns, hormonal imbalances, adrenal fatigue, genetic issues, neurotransmitter balancing, detoxification problems, food intolerance/allergies, environmental toxicity, peptide therapy, IV therapy, OMICS, etc.
Tara's passion is preventative health & wellness. She helps her patients achieve optimal health naturally through hormone optimization and lifestyle changes. Lifestyle changes may include weight reduction, diet, exercise, stress reduction, counseling, healthy relationships, spiritual practice and supplementation with nutraceuticals and adaptogens.
Tara understands that your overall wellness is multifaceted and includes your body, mind, and spirit, and these three must be aligned in order for you to live your best life.
She has resided in Hendricks County for the last 30 years. When she is not seeing patients, she can be found enjoying life with her husband and three children (2 adult children and 1 still at home). She loves serving others in her church and community. She also loves summers and enjoying time outside. Most of her family lives locally, and she has a great group of friends that she calls framily. Tara gets the most enjoyment from her relationship with the Lord and spending time with those she loves.
